Good to know before you start

When you as a Canvas administrator correct issues using Ally, teachers are not notified that the content has been updated by someone else. Also, your name will appear in the course as the last one to modify the webpage or file, which may cause some confusion for others.

We recommend that you inform the teachers and other employees who produce content in the Canvas course, that you will be fixing content issues.

1. Find a document, file or webpage with an issue

Choose an issue category from your account report in Canvas and find a specific document, file or webpage with an accessibility issue.

2. Click on the Ally spedometer to open it

Note! It is important that you click on the spedometer to fix the issue using Ally.

Simply clicking in the row with the file name (but not directly on the spedometer) will only open the document.
