Du kan endre og legge inn personlige kontoinnstillinger. Noe vil være skjult, avhengig av innstillingene UiO gjør på overordnet nivå. For eksempel, for å endre navn som vises i Canvas må du ta kontakt med Canvas-brukerstøtte ved UiO.

Klikk på Konto(1) i Global navigasjon. Velg Innstillinger fra sprett-ut menyen. Du ser i Emnenavigasjonen at du står i Innstillinger(2).

Du kan klikke Rediger innstillinger(3) fra høyremenyen. Dette gir deg tilgang til innstillinger for Språk og Tidssone.

Husk å klikke på Lagre etter at du har gjort endringer.

Passordinnstillinger er regulert av UiOs autentiseringssystem og du kan ikke endre passord her. På UiO bruker du samme brukernavn og passord til de fleste IT-tjenester, og når du skal endre passord, gjør du det fra passord.uio.no Links to an external site.. Du kan ikke slette din bruker selv. Brukeren din vil automatisk bli slettet når du ikke lenger er tilknyttet UiO.

I Kontaktmåter(4) kan du legge til flere e-postadresser, samt velge hvilken som skal være standard e-postadresse ved å klikke på stjerne-ikonet. Andre Kontakter er hvis du har installert Canvas-appen på en eller flere mobile enheter.

I Funksjonsvalg(5) har du blant annet mulighet til å skru på en høyere konstrast eller velge at alle lenker er understreket. Dette gjør det enklere å lese på sider og steder hvor farger og designvalg ikke er optimale.

You can change and enter personal account settings. Some will be hidden, depending on the settings UiO makes at a higher level. For example, to change the name displayed in Canvas, contact your Canvas Support at UiO.

 

In Global Navigation, click Account(1). Select Settings from the pop-up menu. You will now see in the Course navigation that you are in Settings(2).

You can click Edit Settings(3) from the right menu. This gives you access to the Language and Time Zone settings.

After making changes, be sure to click Save.

Password settings are regulated by UiO's authentication system and you cannot change passwords here. At UiO, you use the same username and password for most IT services, if you want to change your password, you can to it at passord.uio.no. Also, you yourself cannot delete your user. Your user will be automatically deleted when you are no longer affiliated with UiO.

In Contact method(4) you can add multiple email addresses, as well as choose which one you will have as a default email by clicking on the star icon. Other Contacts are if you have installed the Canvas app on one or more mobile devices.

In Feature Options(5) you have the option of turning on a higher contrast or choosing that all links are underlined. This makes it easier to read text and see better when the colours and design are not optimal.
